Description
Well, we had a project at school were we were to create a "simple" manual, or tutorial at whatever subject we wanted, so I chose to make a tutorial on shading....I miight have been a bit off on the "simple" part...
but still, this is a pretty simple tutorial, and if you haev problems, or is generally disliking shading, then feel free to have a go at this. I tried to explain it as well as I could, but feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
So yeah, my first (real) tutorial

This is a very neat tutorial I think it'd be quite helpful...
My favorite part would probably be smudging
The rubbery texture thing is pretty awesome, although I think I'd rather call it shininess than rubbery

Well, thanks Well, that's pretty much how I colour stuff, so I hope at least someone thinks it's useful ^^,; It's not as good as Spyro-and-cynder-fan's though, but it was still a neat project
Yuup. that's the magical part, where stuff starts to look good
Perhaps, but still, it's called rubberiness, becasue it makes them look like they were made of rubber, when the lines of white are straight like that

Looks great! I use to overlay (opacity ~25%) the lineart in the second step- so you will have still the lines, but they won't be pure black anymore
I like the rubbery effect!
