Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't been on lately. I haven't even been in the mood to draw much lately. I seemed to have hit a wall and I'm still working my way over it, with events this summer.
I'm sorry I haven't been around, but I was able to drop by iscribble today. Couldn't do much to log in, seeing as my connection crapped out on the site, but damn, NJ. That wasp you got going is GORGEOUS! I wanted to comment on it and tell you so. Hate that Scribble is even a WORSE load than dA at times. Not sure why though.

I know what you mean about the iscrib connection. Their servers really suck and it kicks me off sometimes too. Anyway, I'm online a lot of the time if you ever need a distraction and wanna draw. We still have that girl/dog collab rusting away haha. Oh and thanks for the wasp comment - it was a load of fun to draw and it was extremely effective in scaring away little kids from my board. But then again, you're pretty good at that too haha.

*hugs* I know, but something happened a bit more recently as well. We ended up losing my other uncle, the one who has been in and out of the hospital just two weeks ago, now. So, yeah it hasn't been that good of a summer, so I'm hoping fall will bring better weather.
Thank you so much for the support, I really do appreciate it, it's just been rough with everything going on lately. At the moment, my grandmother is out of town, she ended up taking a plane to my uncle who lives several hours away to visit him, so I pretty much have the house mostly to myself this week. XD
I'm sorry I haven't been around, but I probably wouldn't have been much fun lately either. My mind has just been elsewhere, but don't worry, I won't give up the chance to draw with you again.

Like her refusing to learn how to turn on the computer when she had one, to use e-mail and making one of us check it for her and print them off. WTF, isn't email about SAVING paper instead of WASTING it?

And it's nice for Gaia users, but Gaia makes my itty bitty computer crash sometimes, so I can't use it D: But maybe someday when I upgrade computers I can do commissions and get Gaia Gold for this group.

Trust... I get hundreds of thousands of gold for chibi commissions. My last one was a 1 million gold commission which I'm finishing up. Trust me, 25K really isn't that much at all to me.
Just let me know what you want, or you could put in the order, but the thing is, I have to wait until my order is done for my two Gryphiones to get done, before I can start another order on Gaia.
We'll talk to Cao, and see when that's plausible. I know she started school this week as well, so it might be awhile to do so.

It's true! Your work is amazing, and it inspires me to try out new techniques. Someday, when I have a few hours to myself, I'll try out your lineartless digital painting. But now I'm working on three pieces simultaneously for the Springs so the fanart contest will have its last entrant and last three entries.

Haha, I only do the line-less art with PT Sai. And at the moment, I'm focusing more on trying to work WITH line-art rather than without it. One of my WIPS at the moment: [link] That's just ONE of the dozens of pieces I have going.
I have two different pieces of HP fanart that will be posted through a HPML I belong to, four different chibi pieces(two are for kiriban), the MAJOR drawing I'm working on for the commission, two line-art pieces one is that WIP and another is a 250K commission for JUST lineart in that style. O_O One of my friends saw my work in progress and bribed me into doing a piece for him. XD and thats just the DIGITAL pieces I'm working on. ROFL.

Thanks, that line-art was started out of boredom and just evolved into my snow leopard character. She's the LITTLE BITTY thing up in the corner for reference. I actually plan (at least HOPEFULLY) to get PT Sai sometime in the near future. I can live with having a trial version until then though. LOL The line-art is actually a TON better than drawing it in Photoshop. I still use Photoshop more to COLOR, but for the line-art, not even CS3's tools are as good as what Sai's seem to be. Even for a dinky little program like that.

I've heard about the awesome lineart applications in Sai, and I'm thinking of getting it at some point. But I'll do it when it doesn't have to run on my dinky little netbook, which crashes when I open one of my online textbooks! Sai would kill it fast.

ROFL. Yes, but one of the things I love about Sai, is that it really doesn't take up nearly as much memory as PS, but yeah, you probably SHOULD be thinking ahead and not put it on that one. I love the fact that it's only about $70 instead of HUNDREDS for a full version of PS. >_< The version I got was about $300, that was WITH the student discount because it was the EXTENDED version, which was just ridiculous, because we didn't even USE any of the extended features. *rolls eyes*

Wow, that's insane! I was lucky to get mine with my tablet, so I have a simpler version but a version nonetheless! But someday I'll upgrade my computer, and I hope to get Sai after that. I've seen lots of great things about the lineart part of it, which would be great to use!

Mine was pretty much bought for a college coarse, so thankfully I was able to funnel it into the college expense and put it all in with that sort of expenses.
I had one of the PS versions that went with my tablet for years, and the only thing that it really lacked for me, was the fact that the version I had didn't have the pen tool, and that some of my pieces were too large to be opened with the maximum memory the watered down version could handle. XD
Nothing wrong with using what you got though. Can't wait to see your fanart.

And I did my fanart, though it's sorta half-assed for little quick draws. I did Zuzu (this is probably my least favorite of them), then Kala'kuival , which I'm pretty proud of, and then my favorite of Zeet .

I was so used to PS by the time I graduated HS. I was shocked that I was able to get a version of PS with the tablet, but was thrilled that it came with it as well. WAY back then it was PS Elements 3! I think the newest version is like Elements 9 or something? I'm not sure what all comes with tablet bundles anymore.
