This is a pic i did a few months back, just never posted it, basicaly the girl is stranded after a tidal wave washed her ashore infront of a family. "Would anyone like to help me back in the water?" she said embarrased.Related content

Less about anatomical knowledge and more about being limited to what I can find. It would be great to have my own studio and do photos perfectly, but thats not reality, and neither are the photos that I have manipulated, so there really isn't any point in trying to rationalize them...

I wonder about that, because in my down time, I do search the internet quiet extensively, and it usually is tough finding the exact photos I need. Which is why im studying photography, so I can someday just take my own images.

That's an interesting way of addressing the issue; photography would be an effective means of acquiring 'perfect' stock, but it would be incredibly time-consuming. I suppose everything has its benefits and detriments. Either way, it's your choice.

Thx! This picture is a good example of matching two similar pictures, the results are a more realistic blend. In this picture I put her into the beached whale photo, then edited out the whales head.

One little drawback to being a mermaid: no legs, dragging yourself back to ocean, and grass and dirt beneath your fingernails.

True, but i figured a whale mer would prob either have a bigger tail, or she would be bigger. From the two I liked the idea of her being burdened by the over sized tail, and she falling prey to the same elements that trap all whales on the shore.
