Description
I injected a flower with corn syrup and then waited for one of the ladies to feed. Lots of deleted frames...Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@3x) + a diffused MT-24EX

curious, what does the injection 'do'? attract? facilitate slower feeding?

The amount of nectar in a flower is very low, and the bee will quickly finish it and leave. By injecting the flower with corn syrup I'm giving them more to eat, so they will give me more time to shoot.
