I love how the colors of bee and petal are near complemetary, and that the BG isn't copletely black as in most macros. Also the bee's legs and the purple carpels nicely correspond. The crisp sharpness of the object and the well balanced DOF add to what I believe is not just a great macro but a great piece of photographic art. You feel as if you're watching natures secrets unveiled, something happening every day in front of your very eyes, but never to be seen. The fact that in this case the outcome resembles more than a technically advanced macro-snapshot, but atmospheric art you want to put on the wall of your living room, makes it stand out. Well done!
One little thing I'd like to point out is:
Cropping the right and bottom a little, so that the flower is centered, would add to it imho. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />

...and just to prove my point, that image size doesn't matter is someone wants to steal a photo, check out this link [link]

I set then to 1600 pixels for the people who want to use them for wallpaper Scott, and so I can show the detail in my shots. If someone wants to steal your images it won't matter what size you make them...

Actually it's an odd cone shaped flower, but I can see how you might think it's ice!
