I think that this Wool Carder Bee is getting old: I was shooting it as it moved around this flower and it settled down and fell back to sleep. Know how you feel little buddy
Tech Specs: Canon 70D (F16, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (around 1.5x) + a diffused MT-24EX. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held.
Technique: I found the bee sleeping in my Lavender and when it woke up I held the Lavender stem next to a daisy it it moved to the flower. Easy to get away with it since it was very early in the morning. Also helps that the bee was old, and probably suffering from dementia.

Just beautiful how this bee climb on the flower. It's great to see how fragile thing's as petals, becomes so sturdy, like odd shaped white rocks.
