" Are you ready?" He asked her, his body quaked against her back as she could tell he was already panting from the strinuous evening they were having thus far.

" Do I have a choice?" She said jokingly, a half laugh tinging the dryness of her throat. Her hand tightened on the hilt of her katana, the thousands of moaning, groaning, decomposing bodies edged towards the two of them. The apocalypse had finally happened, she had never believed it. She thought it was stupid, after all zombies seemed so fake.

As if it could read her thoughts a zombie growled and learched at her with open bloody jaws. It's mangled half clothed body twisting in a unusual fashion as it went for the kill. She raised her katana so it landed on it, impaling it through the chest. She quickly disguarded the limp carcus to the side and got back into a defensive stance, because she knew that would initiate the rest. Sure enough the rest of the mass of zombies let out an ominous howl and began to race towards the duo. He pressed up against her and she leant back against him, they both let out a cry and began the long battle. Ready to fight to the death.
