Description This is a pic I did for Spectrum Game's Cartoon Action Hour. As everyone can see, the characters are loosely based on 80's concepts such as MOTU and Blackstar.

Yeah. This picture is supposed to be a comment on the discolored moving scenery pieces trope. I always wondered what was up with that. How much more would it have cost to make the trapdoors and such the same color as the rest of the background?

Actually, they look like some of the myriad lines of MotU knockoff figures from the '80s. Not that its a bad thing! If they where not used as nameless, faceless soldiers and/or evil minions, then they could provide the perfect black-slate figure to form a wholly unique and personalized hero or villain to play with -- basically, what a RPG like this was meant for!
