Beastboy took a long look into his girlfriends' glittering eyes, "Robin is sending me on a mission in Africa. Apparently there's some trouble going on and no titan knows' the place better than I do."

The pale girl sat in shock. She looked at the ground, then at her boyfriend. With saddened eyes, she whispered, "When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow."

Raven hesitated for the next question. She wasn't quite sure she would like the answer, "How long?"

The changeling cringed, "4 months."

Terra sat on the edge of the city, her fingers intertwined with Malchior's. She felt perfect. He made her feel like she wasn't worthless. When he found her, the earth girl was broken. There were scars covering her arms, each one marking the regrets she had. The girl was on the brink of suicide. He was her safe-haven.

Feeling tired, the girl let her head rest on her boyfriends' shoulder. Malchior looked at her dirty blonde hair in disgust. The only though running through his head was, 'only a few more days.' Why did the sorcerer even bring the girl in? Was he becoming soft?! He didn't even need the girl anymore.

Lifting her head off his shoulder, Malchior looked into the powerful girls' eyes. All he saw was pure joy that they were together and she was a titan. Taking one last look into her eyes, he stood up.

"Whats up babe?" Terra asked, staring into his soft blue eyes from below. She couldn't help but get lost in them.

"Terra, we're over, "The sorcerer smiled and held up her communicator, "I have all that I need from you so, go on. Run back to your little friends. I can't believe you actually thought I was in love with you."

Terra didn't even hear his last word. She was running through the streets. Tears were streaming down her face by the time she entered the nearest café'.

"What can I get you, blonde?" The cute cash register guy flashed her a smile.

"Anything as long as it has a lot of caffine in it," She threw down twenty buck and sat at a table near the pick-up window.

"Do ya need to chat 'bout something?" The guy had a slight southern accent. He gave her a warm, sympathetic look as he handed her some sort of chiller drink, "I'm going on break."

Terra gave him a small nod, "Tha'd be nice."

"C'mon, Junkpile! I know you can do better than that!!!" Jinx yelled at her boyfriend from across the racetrack. He had just fixed up her car and she wanted to test drive it.

"Hey, I just fixed your car…of course it runs faster than mine."

Jinx slowed down to let Cy catch up. "Well it's not my fault you insisted on fixing my car."

He gave her a playful glare, "Yeah it is."

Jinx walked over to him and leaned agenst his hard, metal shoulder, "Ok, so it is." She drapped the metalman's arm around hers and watched the diminishing sun fall from its rightful place in the sky. "Sunsets are so beautiful."

Cy looked at her and smiled, "Yes you are."

Raven's eyes widened. Her tone shifted from sadness to anger, "He can't just cast you away for 4 months." The empath crossed her arms and sat back down on her bed.

"Listen Rae," Beastboy grabbed her arms and pulled her off the bed, "We're grown up's. As much as we would love to just 'be' all day, every day, we have a duty to the city and the world."

Raven gave him a long, indifferent gaze. Then sighed, "I know."

Taking a deep breath, the green man then proceeded to get down on one knee, "When I go to Africa, I want to be sure I have you here for when I get back. That's why I, Garfield Logan, would be honored and overjoyed to have you, Rachel Roth, to be my wife."

The pale girl gasped at the huge diamond in the box in his hand. (Raven would later find that it had flecks of ruby in it) She looked at Beastboy and smiled. Not giving him and answer, she tackled him to the ground and kissed him.

"So, is that a yes?"

Raven slapped the back of his head, "What do you think?"
