Beastboy felt his control slipping. It was Malchior. The man who ripped Raven's heart to shreds and nearly her as well. He had manipulated her and her power. No one manipulates Raven, HIS Raven.

Looking down, the changeling no longer had hands. In their place were 2 massive paws, 2 inch claws sticking out of them. His arms and legs covered in fur, Beastboy stood. He gave the sorcerer one last sane look before totally changing into the beast.

Malchior just sat there. A light smirk was beginning to appear on his face. Moving into a ready position, the dark wizard muttered in satisfaction, "Come and get me."

Raven woke up with a gasp. Something was wrong. She felt a chaotic presence. Even when he was in Africa, Raven could sense Garfield's rage. He was seriously pissed, but the empath couldn't tell why. Deciding that this wasn't information to keep to herself, Raven headed towards Robin's room.

Robin rubbed his eyes when he heard a knock at the door. He glanced at the clock and moaned. 3:24. Grumbling slightly, the boy wonder headed to the door in his boxers. He was surprised to see Raven at the door. The minute he opened it, she entered.

"Something's wrong."

"That's specific."

Raven rolled her eyes and continued, "I can feel Gar's emotions. He's extremely angry, but I can't tell who or what it's directed at."

Robin gave her a questioning look and she rolled her eyes again.

"Beastboy."

A small 'ooooo' escaped Robin. He then turned serious and threw a pair of sweatpants on, "Lets go check in with him on the main screen."

Beastboy's eyes shifted when he heard his communicator go off. Slightly pausing, he ran towards the rock where it was hidden. He shifted into his regular form and answered, "Beastboy here."

"GAR!" He heard a yell at the other end. Recognizing the voice, he smiled.

"Sup beautiful?"

Raven blushed. She then remembered the reason for her call, "Whats going on over there."

"Beastboy's face shifted to rage. Pausing slightly, he blurted out the truth, "Malchior's back."

Raven's 2 eyes suddenly shifted into 4. Her lips curled back into a scowl that would scare the devil himself. Taking a deep breath, she struggled to keep calm, "I thought he was trapped in my book."

"That's what I thought too but apparently not."

Her face still pressed in a scowl, Raven answered, "I'm coming over there. It's time that he was gone for good."

"Sounds good, babe. I gotta go keep 'em busy. I Love you, Raven."

Her face turning pink again, Raven replied an 'I love you' and shut the main screen off. When Beastboy's image dissappeared, Robin gave her a teasing smile. She just shook her head and went to her room to grab the book Malchior was supposed to be trapped in.

Taking a deep breath, the empath opened the chest containing her 'ex boyfriend'. It still laid there, in all its snow white beauty. Raven felt resentment that such a good book was wasted on a traitor like Malchior.

With one more deep breath, Raven opened the book. Immediately, the pages started to rapidly turn. Finally, the pages landed on a pair of eyes. An all too familiar voice ran through the air.

"Hello, dear Raven."

The empath's eyes went wide. Malchior was still trapped in the book. If he was in titans tower, who was fighting her fiance'?!?

Beastboy was running out of breath, and time. Where the hell was Raven? She should have been here to put this creep back into that book.

Somthing itched the back of him mind. Concentrating hard, he tried to recover the ponderous thought. Then it hit him. Why was Malchior only fighting hand to hand, when he had magical powers?

A voice spoke, but it was not the voice of his so called attacker, "Judging by the look on your face, I guess that you've figured it out."

Beastboy spoke with confidence, "You're not Malchior."

Clapping his hands slowly, 'Malchior' approached him, "Bravo, bravo. You aren't as dumb as you look."

With more thought, Beastboy matched a face to that dark, dull voice.

The changeling's eyes narrowed as he let out a slight growl,

"Slade"
