Hm. I'm alright with people hunting and then actually using the materials when they need them. It's different, (in my opinion,) when they're simply hunting for sport and don't actually use what they catch. The prior seems reasonable; people eat food, and some just happen to catch it themselves as opposed to buying it. Meat's not made in a store, after all. Someone needs to do the killing. The latter infuriates me; it's killing animals for no reason, when either others actually could catch and use it, or the animal could simply be left alone.

Same here. My father taught me that if I kill ANYTHING, I use it's meat, hide, and whatever else I can salvage for my own survival, and thank the creature for it's sacrifice.
