Here are my two narrowed down logo ideas for my new siteThis is an important decision for me, so I want to make sure i've made the correct one. I like both names, and both logos are very similar. I'm tempted to go for the bottom logo with the globe on as I think its more representative of the idea.
The site will be about promoting pbem games and hopefully in the future (when i've sorted out my specially tailored forum out) will host some unique and original pbem games and interactive writing groups.
What does everyone else think, which do I choose? or if neither, can you suggest and alternative?

I like the first one - Jumps out at me when I look at it.
It may be the colour though. I like how the colours complement each other.
If you could add colour to the second one, like maybe colouring a few of the panels on the globe, I think that would look really cool.

thanks for the advice! I like the colours too, I like the globe because it fits with what the website will be about but it doesnt quite have enough colours for me either!
I'll have a play around with it later and see what I can do

you could try putting multicolours in the boxes on the spherical world like object...

I'm not sure, that might make it a little bit cluttered - this will be shown really quite small, so the white in the globe will be fairly hard to see as it is.
Tell you what... i'll upload the screen design for the homepage on here when I get on my home pc later so you can see what context it will appear in

I say go the bottom one, but maby add a bit more colour where ever possible.

I agree, but I'll be putting it on a site that I think has plenty of colour, so I might just be able to get away with it.
You think the name is okay though? Greg at work today laughed at it! But I got a compliment from someone else, so its even!
