Description The first of my Though Time series featuring the Tardis is different historical styles. Today, we visit Pompeii.

Since the most notable part of roman art are their painted murals and landscapes, I attempted to replicate that saturated colors, delicate details and trees.

This is really gorgeous! It's so serene in setting but subtle in context

Thank you. I am currently working on the second one, set in an ancient Chinese landscape.

I love it! It's a really nice scene with lots of great colors. Overall the elements work together well. The mix of colors towards the bottom emphasizes the hazy idea of time travel, that we are glimpsing an image put together from another time. The Tardis fits in well-- it almost becomes part of the Roman scene, peeking out from behind the tree like that! I love the tree and the pillar right in front if it. The background with the smoking volcano and the trees. And is that orange blotch the sun? Either way, love this.
