I used to be so into you, watching and waiting for when you would greet me again.
Sugared words and sharp ink pens were your specialty.
I guess I've grown too old for you,
too old to follow your mental backbends and mind contortions. Too big of myself to slip into another for a few minutes, just too.....much.
Looking back though is lovely, I wish I could relive those days when I would rejoice in every visit and live for the powdered sugar you'd bring.
But it's ok.
I've learned to let you go, but by doing so I've also learned to not care for you anymore.
