Description

More Oc’s! Raina’s childhood friends (and surrogate family), Alexi, Alec, Sophia and their son Ajax.

*Backstory time:
After losing her family and home to a Devotindos Empire raid, Raina meets Alec and Alexi Kyriakos once she arrives at an orphanage. They too are war orphans (as most of the children there were). Raina had been withdrawn, not speaking and was barely eating. She began to open up and bonded with them and in return they adopted Raina as their new little sister. One afternoon while playing in the forest near the orphanage, Raina and Alexi are ambushed by a huge Devotindos soldier. Raina tries to protect Alexi and is hit. Alec tries his best to fight off the soldier but is no match. Luckily a Rocket Knight named Arthur Jaxon was passing by and saved the children from the soldier. Raina is rushed to the hospital and the attack leaves a permeant scar across her left eye. Alec is inspired by the Knight that saved them and soon after begin training as his Squire. Sophia Maye arrives at the orphanage shortly after (also another victim of war). She befriends Alexi and Raina acting as older sister type figure for them. She meets Alec a little later on while he was visiting the orphanage. Alec and Sophia became friends and the older they got they grew even closer and eventually got married. Their son Ajax is named after Alex’s mentor. They are soon expecting a 2nd child.

*The Past:
Sophia (11), Alec (10), Alexi (7) and Raina (5). I think you know by now that I’m pretty terrible about spoofing and showing my love for other franchises and shamelessly incorporating them into my characters. So your assignment is, can you figure out what show or book each character parodying from? Hint: The toy that Alexi is carrying is not Monkey D. Luffy! Lol The character is an actual monkey named Mr. Nilsson who wears very similar clothing. The doll that Raina is holding is a gift she received on her 5th birthday and is one of the few possessions she has left from her past life. She actually still has the doll.

*Alexi is a shopkeeper and runs a supply store for Knights. I thought it would be funny to make a faux RPG screenshot

*Alec in his armor in action using his chain sword. The sword was passed down to him from his mentor Sir Jaxon. Unfortunately, Alex is injured along with many other knights during an explosion and is inactive. Raina secretly (with the aid of Alexi and also Sir Sanjuro) begins wearing his armor to find the culprit behind the attack.

What they're wearing are just basic uniforms so it's not part of the hint. Sophia Maye's hairstyle is the clue here. It's based on a magical girl anime. Alec's ball (it's also a mini-bot) and even his hair color are the clues to another anime. This show is mecha related. You got Alexi's reference. And your right she could pass for Anne of Green Gable as well! I completely forgot about that series. Raina's name and the dolls he's holding is a reference to a very colorful 80's cartoon.
