I rarely do stuff like this, but I can't stand it anymore. This is a representation on how I've been lately. If you haven't already figured it out, it's my current feelings toward the controversy surrounding the upcoming Big World, Big Adventures. I originally was just gonna ignore it and not let the heat get to me, but lately it's been getting harder and harder to escape seeing posts from both sides fighting each other, and its killing me. In fact, it's gotten to the point to where I now don't wanna see either side come out on top!(*sigh* insert your own forced reference to the current political climate here ) And it gets worse, it's so bad that it makes me NOT wanna see the movie the moment it comes out, if at all. Not because I think the movie's gonna be bad, but the controversy is now making me feel like I'd be watching it out of obligation instead of genuine interest, which I believe should not be the main motivation to see a movie(unless you're a professional film critic who does it for a living, and thus doesn't have that luxury). Oh, and this is also coming from someone who does not believe in the over-exploited notion of "there's no such thing as bad publicity"(shoot me). Plus, whether or not the film turns out to be good or bad, all can see is one side smugly say "told ya" and thus leading to more fighting for a while, til like the end of the year. I'm sorry if this upsets you in any way, but this has beaten me down so hard that it's driven to this level if I'm to stay neutral on this. Maybe if everyone shuts up by the end of the year, then I might see the film(at least then I would be doing it out of interest rather than obigation). If not, well I guess that's how it has to be.
