At the previous comments, I comment in a V2. But I also say that it cant be did by now, many school tasks. But Im studying what to make it. And an app launcher may be present.

Well, there ARE plans for a V2, but with added functions to the buttons.

Icons I used: Apple logo shape I made into photoshop, and a few of the built in custom shapes in photoshop. Nothing fancy lol. If you would like a .psd for these designs, download the MacOSX version which gives you full editing ability: [link]

I love it, really ties together the desktop. + Faved btw.

An idea though, I'm no programmer and I've never really looked at doing anything for Rainmeter so I wouldn't know how difficult this would be... But how about making the ribbon not only beautiful, but useful as well?

Examples:
Give it the ability to check your email and give you an alert. (Envelope icon with a number beside it to indicate number of unread emails.)

Or RSS, twitter, Facebook etc. updates.

Functionalities in d sense, add a code to it such that for example, when clicked on d power ribbon, a shut down process starts. When clicked on star ribbon, Favourites folder is opened. Somethin similar. Get it?
