Well, it's been about a year and this piece is finally done. I find that it is quite difficult to take a good photo of something this large in my shop. Lighting is often a challenge; but, here it is, on redwood (of course). About 54" X 18"; this piece is ready for the gallery. Thanks for viewing.

Hey Brother, it is good to hear from you. I am honored by your words......and, you are right. It can takes suffering to make great art. The reason being that the artist sacrifices everything in order to create hers/his art. Generally this means money, food, and housing. The only painting Van Gogh sold (in his life) was to his brother who basically supported him. There are those born into money and do their art without worry or challenge. Creativity is creativity; however, without all of the safeguards, finances, and security, one must go within to find their meaning and sense of Being. This is raw creativity and inner focus......the intangible......
