Yes, the key word here is "Windows 10" which is great and it would make me happy if I knew that by that time Microsoft will release Window 10 update for my smartphone (because it still runs on Win 8 since the update is not available for me yet, I only have it on my computer).

If you're talking about windows 10 mobile, it's not available for anyone since it isn't released yet.

But I'm fairly sure if dA makes their app for win phone 8 it will still work on windows phone 10.

The dA app is to be for Windows 10, which means it won't work with Windows 8.
I know Win 10 mobile is not available yet, but Microsoft informed that they will release it gradually for various models of phones (newer models have some additional options for downloading updates that older models lack), and knowing my luck, my model will be the last one to get its update T_T

Notifications mean nothing if they don't notify you OUTSIDE the app.....

Now I know this goes contrary to dA's entire business model, but the entire point of a Mobile Notifications is so you don't have to be constantly looking at the app when something time-sensitive is posted.
Like any of these examples:
- Journal: Hey guys, i'm going live on an Art stream!
- Journal: I'm opening commissions for the next hour!
- Note: i need this commission today by X:00pm

Those are not things I can rely on dA in it's current form. And I need control on what deviants I deem important enough that I want to be Notified immediately of an update....

These are the updates I want to see, and their absence is why I visit no more that 5 times a week now.

They won't release it for Android 2.2. Not sure they'd release it on an apple device that can't handle iOS 8.4

If you start the app in portrait mode then it should work fine, i also recomend closing it COMPLETELY as well as rotation lock to make it easier for you
