It must be terrible feeling when you must get out of it. I would even sleep in that thing. Really, great job, you did great work! To the armory now!

Painted that pattern on by hand. Turned out well though.

You paid extravagant attention to detail, I see. The plating is a little bit more shiny than I would have expected on something actually intended to protect the wearer, indicating an inclination more towards fashion as opposed to function. In your case, however, this was probably intended in its design--cosplays are meant to be aesthetically pleasing.
On an unrelated note, I always did like the design of the original N7 armor, but I found its combat statistics lacking, which was a real shame. Then again, the Kestrel suit and Archon visor that I currently use was plenty cool, too. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who can come up with a holographic visor for cosplay purposes. Doesn't stop me from dreaming, but there it is.
All that aside, very well done. This is one of those things that strikes the "I want one" chord in the less rational part of my brain. If you plan on doing more, I'll be happy to comment on that, too.

The flash from the camera makes it look shinier than it is. Besides I think you are a little lost in the suspension of disbelief. Everything designed for a sci-fi epic is aesthetics over function. That's why it's fiction.

Not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of M!Shepard. It's not that I'm biased as a F!Shepard player, but more so that I found Mark Meer's voice acting to be incredibly irritating. Anyway, seeing the immense amount of work, artistry and passion that so obviously went into this unbelievable set of [spot on authentic] costumes more or less make me think better of M!Shep in some twisted way, haha. Seriously, to say that your work is impressive is an understatement.
