Wow. I couldn't sleep well last night so I came up with a binary alphabet using one hand, and it worked out correctly! Yipp yip Horry. Β I'm not normally skilled at math because I am an artist? Counting on my fingers always helped but I really enjoyed my old atari computer for writing really cool video games only my kids would ever play. My calculations were all correct and I wanted to check the web in the morning to find out if I had come up with something Β new. I know morse code really good but never used it with another person. I just learned it for the sake of just knowing and the fun satisfaction of knowing something cool. Your picture is terrific and answers a lot of my curiosities Β
it turns out of course lots of other people came up with my ideas as well. Two hands can express numbers up to 1024. 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 1024 2048 4096 8192 16384 32768 65536 131072 ... ... all these numbers are even numbers except the first one. It determines if the result is odd or even.
What I was attempting was to go from just expressing more than a thousand numbers with just 10 fingers to the alphabet using only five, leaving room for periods and other symbols. My hand signs follow the assci codes of a keyboard and do not conflict with numbering. Assci uses 65 for the letter A and 90 for Z 26 letters. The muscles of the hands are not used to this at first but you can learn to play a guitar if you want to, right?

You flipped me off, like, two whole times! Nevertheless, this is pretty cool, guy. Reminds me of that really cool daft punk video with the hands and the song and the.... video...
Anyway, this is cool.

I haven't been on here for a while and just catching up on messages.

Oh, wow. I actually haven't been on here for a while either, guy.Β
What I meant by 'flipping me off'... It's basically a euphemism for pointing the middle finger at me (wasn't directly at the screen, so it didn't make much sense). Sorry, it was a pathetic attempt to be even remotely funny. I apologise, world. Β I HAVE FAILED EVERYBODY!
Anyway, glad you replied.
Much love,Β
Cheese.

This. is. awesome !
One of my mom's friends recently created some kind of charity and they need a logo. I'm supposed to find ideas for that and I thought I could draw hands making letter shapes (standing for the initals of the name of the charity). And I didn't want to do stop drawing, do the shape with my hand, look, draw, re-stop etc... So I thought I should look it up on the internet and voila ! ^^
Thanks, it really helped. ^^
