I love your designs so I've been trying to make some myself but I'm a little stuck. I want to design an Eevee tattoo but how can you incorporate a Pokemon's type into the design when it's normal type? If you could give me a tip, that'd be stellar!

Thank you .
Well normal type Pokemon would be a good way to practice creating your own tribal pattern style. Personally I like to use swirls and just let them go where ever within the design, sometimes it's good to just get a piece of paper and start doodling random patterns that could be incorporated into a tribal pattern but it doesn't have to be anything amazing. I prefer simple patterns for simple Pokemon, I can give you an example of my own style to help you: [link]

Ah, so cute! I guess the tribal style has quite alot of improvisation room about it, which kind of makes it more difficult! Thanks for the pointer, and the Ampharos helps me with the problem I was having of making the outlines look not too... outliney as well as the shapes to use in it. Swirls are cute and I like them, also find myself putting heart shapes into my Eevee plans.

Lol yeah it does. You just need to try and find a style that suits you. It's all about trial and error, really.
Aww hearts for Eevee would look so adorable!

Well have a few practice tests and check out my other Pokemon tutorials, found here:[link]
I'll try to do an Arcanine tutorial but commission work keeps me busy so I may not get a chance to do it for a while.

I try to explain things as best I can but you know people will never understand how some else's mind works

Lol, yeah. It's easy to go through the process of how you came up with the idea in your head but when you have to explain it to someone else they might not understand how you came to the finalised piece.
Me too! I'm pretty happy with it so far even though I had to draw the Leafeon out again so I could finish it how I wanted it but with a bit of luck I can get it up by the end of the day
