With those designs, I intended to create a short story about birds achieving freedom.
In my designs, I have never approached the clothes so deeply, giving them so much meaning. Therefore, those fashion designs are very conceptual, which every detail has a special meaning behind. I put a lot of effort on those!
I hope you take your time to appreciate all the details and to create your own story about my art.

Below I will give some short explanation about the designs and concepts.
I advice you to look at the artwork before going on, to imagine your own story about the designs before hearing my version.

CAGED
This bird has a sad, pitiful face, as if it was asking for help.
A prisoner of a small fancy cage, this bird does not have enough space to be itself, therefore, it has very small wings. As you can see, its wings are located on her head, to indicate that even though its body is imprisoned, its mind is not.
It has only one foot to also indicate how it lacks freedom to move.
Its own purpose now should be decorating a room.

VENGEANCE
This bird is also a prisoner, but in a weaker kind of cage, a net. Still, it is angry and indignated with its destiny, represented by its expression.
It also lacks a lot of freedom, and its movements are limited. But nothing is preventing this bird to become beautiful and sublime.
All those feathers in its head represent the imagination, desire and power of this bird's mind.

FIGHTER
Only captive by its feet, this bird is conquering slowly its freedom. It can move, and now a small wing is born on its body.
But all this fight has a price: the red tattoo on its legs would represent the pain and obstacles it will have to overcome.
Its face has a defying expression. Certainty it hasn't lost its courage and determination, not to mention its pride. This bird's mind is also filled with desire and power - represented by the fancy feathers on its head.

REBORN FROM ASHES
A mix of phoenix and peacock, this bird has finally achieved its freedom.
It showcased its beautiful, big wings, stronger as it always have been. Young, filled with pride and strong emotions and taste for adventure - represented by all the bright colors.
It is ready to learn once again about freedom and its costs.
Being shown from a back angle is not only to exhibit its beauty, but also to show its distrust and despise.

EXHALING POWER
Fearless, stronger, courageous, powerful and confident. Those are the words which describe the last bird. In full freedom, represented by its wings wide opened. Its face and the fact that it is shown by its front demonstrate its confidence and will to confront anything that comes on its way.
Its dreams are stronger and more defined.
This bird has also found equilibrium and maturity, not to mention a more complex way to see life.

With this artwork, I wanted not only to criticize the imprisonment of animals, its exploitation or the use/abuse of animals for egoistic reasons, but also when all of this happens to humans.
The feelings this birds shared are felt by many people.
I want to encourage everyone to achieve their own freedom, dreams and to be stronger.
