His eyes used to stare at me
A beautiful emerald green
In my mind I can still hear his voice
Begging for more attention
Which I would easily give
A soft meow
Echoing through my head
The sweetest sound I ever heard
Now I dont know if I\'ll hear it again
His fur was so soft
Beneath my hand
So lovely
A mixture of black and white
He acted so sweet
As he curled up beside me
On my bed at night
But hes been gone
Seven days now
Yes I know being a tomcat
He would leave often
But never does he stay gone this long
I cried for him today
A tear for each day that I\'ve missed him
My cat, my shadow
Is my best friend
And he is gone
