I thought I was losing you
To other people
People more like yourself
People who are happy all the time
I thought that would be it
No more you and me
No more conversations between just us
No more smiles caused by you
But then today you wanted a hug
From me, not them but me
And I knew I was wrong
I wasn\'t losing you at all
Your still here with me
Still my friend to make me smile
Still there when I need someone to talk to
And I realised you need me too
Just like I need you

other than the basic grammar mistakes (your/you're), it's an all-around good poem. i've felt this way a lot. of course, for me, they don't need me anymore. but i'm sure a lot of people relate to this.
