I'm glad you like it! Although I am still considering that "Devil went down to Georgia" type of Fiddler Crab you suggested a while back as a split evolution.

Mostly work for other people and their games, although I don't upload these works to Deviantart. I've also been accepted into the University of Central Florida, so preparations has been eating at some of the time that I could use to convince people online that I'm not dead. God, I really do need to update that journal some time.

Indeed, although Architectural Design is also an excellent gateway into game design, should I ever decide to change studies.

Well, aside from modeling buildings in games, architectural design is a great asset in level design, as both are disciplines that revolves around the experience of a person within a space. Horror games will utilize space in unsettling ways, such as cramped and claustrophobic spaces that go on for an uncomfortably long amount of time. Platforming levels revolve around manipulating space almost like a puzzle, where a player blundering in will almost certainly fail if they don't understand how the designer is using certain spatial elements.
Put in simplerΒ and less pretentiousΒ terms, architectural design and level design both use the space that they can move through to create a certain kind of experience.
