Red is the rose,That stings the hands of princes,
Thorns dripping with Hell's desire,
That smells of Angel's skin.
A demon is the rose,
That teases princes,
Into plucking a gift,
That's a curse,
Eve's apple reincarnate.
Mermaid tails,
With salt infused skin,
Dead seamen,
Seduced into drowning,
In the clutches of the forbidden,
Sex,
Is the appeal,
Is the need,
Is the evil,
Until you understand,
What is heaven and,
What is hell,
What is between your breast and your spine?
Do you know?-
Life will show you,
Red roses and Mermaid tails,
Princes and Seamen,
Too senseless to conquer,
Temptationβ¦,
Will you?

This is a great poem especially when so many people think that sex is good and the high point of life and doesn't have any consequences. Technically I liked it too - at first the commas were annoying but then I liked them.
