Description
Well, I know, out there there are new amazing generations, Genesis 2 and now Genesis 3. Both incredibly for human-like figures. But I need to know and I want to ask all of you a question:
Is there still place for Genesis1 creatures?
Something like these aliens on the image, and even some other fantasy races, like goblinoids?
Since I'm working on several other projects, I need to know, if I'll finish and release them, someone is still interested?
Thank you all
Sculpted in Zbrush, posed and rendered in DS 4.8

I love the big gorilla like guy! Pity he didn't make it into a morph pack!

Well, as for myself and my own observations:
From what I have seen, it seems that Genesis 1 ('plain old' Genesis) seems to be more 'flexible' for people such as yourself to sculpt into forms that deviate heavily from the norm. Not being a actual user of Zbrush or the like myself, I'm not sure if that's a correct assumption or not.
Although I haven't used Genesis a lot recently, I still like its seeming flexibility over the other models, although I use mostly the Genesis 3 model in my Daz renders now (no, I'm NOT going to get Genesis * [WTF happened to 5-7?], or all the morph packages, etc. you have to get to use it, although I do see they almost instantly put out a product that lets you use Victoria 4 skins with Genesis 8 Female, something I REALLY wish they would have done with Genesis 3 Female.
As to these models, if you ever make them into a product, I will certainly purchase it, even if it takes me a long time before I actually use them (as I unfortunately do with a LOT of stuff for Poser/Daz I purchase lately ).

It looks like they are working on cross-over morphs packages so it wouldn't be hard - I hope - to translate these to G2 or G3.

Yes of course, Genesis is till now the most versatile figure and i own most of your shapes.
Any new figures appreciated.
But when giving them textures please include Iray optimized ones too.
Maybe you will do also some creatures like those from the Star Wars universe (like Twilek etc.)
The next Star Wars film is coming soon.

I own most of your G1 morphs & love your work. I exclusively use G1, never got into G2 or G3.
G2 & G3 might be more advanced & realistic but I don't think they have nearly as many quality fantasy shapes as G1. So I think of G2-3 more for realistic people while G1 still rules for toon, fantasy, creatures, etc.
I'm a huge fan of having separate morphs for at least the head & body shapes if not more but I understand if it's not viable.

I am a Poser user and have used some of your alien sculpts for races in my "Dark Rift" comic line. I have no use for Genesis 3, but I can successfully export Genesis 1 and 2 meshes from Daz Studio as .cr2 characters that retain all of their rigging, weight mapping, morph targets, and dials. Genesis 3 does not export from Daz Studio in any usable way for Poser, so the answer to your question is "Yes, I am interested in the Genesis 1 and 2 character morphs", so long as you still provide textures or UV templates for them. Thanks and keep up the great work!

GIMME!!
I am one of those who am a big fan of Genesis 1 and Your characters and morphs.
My own work is almost exclusively made with G1 (and a few times with Gen4 characters). So, for me, it is imperative that You release your morphs!!

Definitely, there's still a place for Genesis 1. I think Genesis 1 is still easier on other platforms, like Carrara. That's as much as I know. Can't say how popular these will be, but I bet they will be. They are just too awesome to resist.

It is incredible!

Yes! G1 works great with carrara and poser we don't all use studio! G3 doesn't work with anything but studio it crashes carrara if you try and cararra is daz software its infuriating.

Wow! I love your fantasy / sci-fi races and I definitely would like to see more comming Your creatures are amazing and unique! Besides they work very well with 'Genesis Generation X2' and 'GenX2 AddOn for Genesis 2' so you could easily transfer they morphs to Genesis 2 figures. I really like the pair on the right. Go they have another oposable thumb on the back of their hands? That's so cool
I would also loooove to se a morph that makes a foot looks like a hand with a thumb

DEFINITELY there's a place for Genesis 1 creatures. Genesis 1 is still my main figure whenever I want to do my best mix-it-up blends of anything more complicated than "human with pointy ears".
While Genesis 2 and 3 are okay for humanoids (I admit, there are some good non-humanoids too, but it resulted another glut of "all monsters are men"), they're not as good when you want to do something that doesn't conform with "standards" (i.e. gender-variant humans; it is damn hard to do a good trans woman, as an example, with Genesis 2 or 3).
I absolutely think that DAZ screwed the pooch when they split genders once again for Genesis 2 and 3.
Yes, please. I will gladly get anything you offer to us Genesis 1 favorers.

I think that there are enough place for Genesis 1 especially if you made alien races. I think that many people hasn't liked the fast transition to Genesis 2, and don't say that DAZ has made that because people has requested. They have made the new Genesis for split again between male and female, and sell 2 times the morphs pack. For Genesis 3 is too new for speak about, also because there isn't the male version, after more a month the release of female version.

Actually, about the only thing I use Genesis 1 for IS for monsters, so yeah -- more G1 monsters morphs & textures would be a good thing, as far as I'm concerned. The two in the middle look especially good.

These are excellent. I've just switched back from Poser 2014 to Daz 4.8 and I'll still be using Genesis 1 for quite some time to come. I'm making a few bits and bobs for it myself in ZBrush. Unfortunately though, I no longer have an income of any sort whatsoever, so the chances of me buying anything in the near future are pretty slim.

I love mixing and matching them to make my own... and I like the way G1 clothes fit guys or gals.. erm... creatures??? Please keep up the great work.. those look awesome ... even without skins. Even though I have Genesis 2 clothing, I usually end up Auto-whatsit'ing them onto Genesis 1. It has always been my go-to figure and I highly doubt it will cease to anytime soon. Always interested in Genesis 1 stuff!!!

cant be any worse than the 4 series polygons nit withstanding conversion only requires node remapping.
