I have no idea if you wanted this to be offending or not, but in any case name me ONE cosplayer that looks more in the face and expression like Riven? I think that is why this picture got popular, because it was taken before Riven was popular for her bunny skin (only), because you would never imagine that others skins exist (even). Also I atleast made the effort to create a specific makeup look for the character and I take my time to create it every time I portray her. And please notice that I haven't mentioned that this photo is a cosplay one, have I?

I didn't say you were cosplaying. I'm referring to the many comments of thirsty males about this being the best Riven cosplay and that other Riven cosplays pale in comparison. A lot of these comments are from 2013 and 2014, when photos of good Riven cosplayers were also posted on this site. If you search even earlier than I did, I wouldn't be surprised if you could find cosplays from around the time you posted this too.

Well that is the most awesome and also most flattering comment I received (ye, sorry guys ^^)
Most people judge me because on my photos the background is the same and the pose, but the thing the photo is about is the resemblance to the character. So really thanks for appreciating that

I've seen many cosplays and the best ones are the ones who actually look like them so to me, you've got one of those cosplays which stand out to me purely because of that. And, same as the new Riven splash art, you are actually really pretty! :3 I can say that cuz I don't have a girlfriend yet xD 

Not sure if it could be better if you had a smile or to refrain from smiling...which is probably something Riven would do...

Well when I did the Riven look (which is this one) for the first time, I actually pictured her somehow like she is on the new splash. Could sound very selfish, but I think I look like her on that art, more or less of course. For me a good cosplay starts with resemblance to the character first. And thank you for the compliment

You do look like her new splash! xD and that's a good thing! You do resemble her...in fact for all I care, you would be what I picture of her in real life anyway xD

Anyway. I can show you the importance of character resemblance (which you did perfectly) right now: search "who fed as he" on Google Images and you'll know what I mean.
