I did this like last week.
I looked at some Mario Strikers pictures and I wanted to try mimicking the style in oekaki. I used these pics as reference of the style.

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome still, and it was fun trying the style out.

That style is certainly unique. It's very sketchy. And it looks as though as it has been drawn and coloured traditionally. It's different from usual artwork to draw Mario and his friends, reminding me of the artwork from Sonic Riders, whih is basically different from the SA style.

Yea it's a neat style, had fun with it. There isn't much coloring to it actually, the pics rely on the heavy inking to create a certain effect, I realized that when I colored this pic.
