Description
After deciding to produce the animated movie(s) of my novel(s) I spent a month producing the first 95 seconds -- before I actually had to start modelling in earnest! Here are a couple of shots from that "teaser" video. Needless to say, given the nature of my novel (a Star Wars / Matrix crossover parody) you may experience a sense of familiarity...

Figuring out how to achieve all this in Blender was a lot of fun, and actually seeing the opening clip playing from DVD sent chills up my spine!

After the logo and the text crawl [link] have disappeared into space, the camera tilts down to reveal the planet Ratatouille -- a large, purplish desert world -- and a ship which has absolutely nothing to do with our story explodes into the frame [in this case, frame #2102]...

(Note the multiple exposures of the ship. That's 'cos it's, like, moving fast 'n stuff! )
