Description
Done with charcoal on 18" x 24" charcoal paper.Woo cross hatching. This picture was done in a 2 1/2 hour class period in spring 2009. The model had a prominent sacral triangle under those particular lighting conditions. Some of the charcoal near the edges of the picture seems to have smudged away since the drawing was made.

Yes, I started by making the whole paper uniform gray, then alternating between hatching in darks and lights with a click eraser. Did you know they make "fine point" click erasers where the tip is about 1/4" diameter? It was really useful!
