Description
I was working on an idea for a new drawing that was steam-punkish, and thought it needed the words "Steam Punk" in the drawling. So, after I sketched the drawing, I began to work on this lettering to overlay on the picture. It turned out nice enough on its own, I decided to use it alone for posting on t-shirts and other items in my store.

The image was sketched in pencil, then scanned onto my computer to color and touch up in MSPaint and Photoshop. For fair disclosure, I did not draw all of the gears myself, but used a really cool free flash online program at...

After I finished drawing the image, I used software to give it an antique tone. Originally, I wanted to lay it out so that it would be a working machine had it really been built... but after trying to figure out how to make a readable letter "E", I mostly gave up on that and just tried to make it look like something that might work mechanically.
