Description
So… this year I've been working on the processing of data from the MIRI instrument in the future James Webb Space Telescope, and in the end I've decided to draw it in space. Let's hope the launch goes well!

The positioning of the telescope, Sun, Earth, Moon and Milky Way are an approximation of the view in July 2022, when scientific observations should start after 6 months of commissioning. Bear in mind the field of view is only about 20 degrees for the Earth and Moon to appear that large, however.

Done with mechanical pencils with 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm leads on white paper, and inverted in Photoshop.
