Tell me is this art? or have I crossed the line to 'porn'As I took the photograph I know the intentions were purely pushing the artistic boundries, please tell me your thoughts

There is no such thing as 'crossed the line to porn' just like there is no such thing as 'art or porn?'. Porn can be art anyways.
The question should be: Is it artistic or not?

you've asked the million dollar question for photos appearing in fetish and various other DA categories. I think the best advice is to keep 'pushing' the envelope, put your work out, and let each person decide for themselves how it affects them.
My personal opinion is that this is a wonderful photo. Cheers!

How did the church shoot go? I've a shoot booked in for the 1st April with Lady Amaranth, but it looks like I may have to cancel as I've been put on an Incident Command course that day, I was collecting her from a local train station to do the tfcd shoot locally, if I can't get out of the work commitment would you like to see if you can shoot with her instead????

Definitely art. This doesn't simply pander to the base physical. Porn does... to the expense of all else. Porn targets the body, art aims more for the mind. It's also important to remember that there is a huge difference between playing to the senses or even human desires as opposed to just pushing a momentary physical thrill akin to a chemical fix. There are a LOT of varieties of chocolate and people eat it for a variety of reasons, but nobody confuses it with crack. The reasons behind the two cravings are WORLDS apart. The same can be said for art and porn. One has flavor and aims to be a mostly intellectual experience, the other is devoid of any deeper meaning and frankly, just isn't interesting. The big question to ask is not whether something is graphic, whether it implies certain things, whether it falls into certain categories or meets certain pre-defined criteria, but rather what the intended effect is and on what level. Nothing about the example here says 'crack dealer.'
In this example, there is technical merit to the work just in terms of lighting, framing, posing and overall composition. That alone should warrant at least a tentative classification as art, regardless of the subject. I say tentative, because the technical side of things can be an art, with the overall product being porn. That is not the case here. There is thought behind what has been done, there's a complexity and depth to the atmosphere produced and one can speculate as to deeper meanings. These are qualities strongly lacking with porn.

I think that it is interesting. It does ride the razor's edge. But is it porn? I don't know. It isn't to me but could just as easily be to others. Hehe I am not really giving you and answer here but I think that you have answered it for yourself before you posted it.
