Just a raider girl enjoying a rare shower in the retro future post-apocalyptic Mojave wasteland.So there's a story to this image. This is not the real image and I originally didn't intend to post it, this was more of a fun exercise in extracting game meshes and playing with them in a testing this and that way. The real image is a viking girl standing in the rain which I am still doing post production on and hair painting on. But my love of contrasts made me want to see that same girl, same pose in an alternate time different kind of warrior. But since I haven't posted anything yet this year I thought what the hell, I'd go ahead and upload it. The other image still needs long blonde braids so it'll take awhile before I get to do that. But I've been wanting to do Fallout style images since I played the game years ago, so expect to see more. And skyrim is next
Also Slovakia will soon have a bridge named Chuck Norris.

As much of a Fallout fan as anyone, this is amazing. Detail on the stopsign reminds you of the actual thing. and the water is amazing, rain could be a little more glistening how rain usually is when light catches it.

Her clothing could be ripped to show shes active and a badass, and maybe some cuts or knicks. I mean how often do you run into random crap that wants you dead in the wastelands.

That is a shiskebab good eye, on the real image of the viking there is a sword in that place. Yeah I definitely should have amped up the dirt more, I was afraid it would make the scene too dark but in retrospect she does look a little too clean. I tried to make the rain look dirty, the other image it comes across a little more like your describing.

Alternate hair cuts look really good if the girls maintain them well. Takes quite a bit of confidence to carry them off.

This is awesome, and not just because she's topless lol. The lighting you paired with the rain fall is perfect, very mood-setting. I like the scene altogether.

Niiiice, such a pity that Raiders are not the most friendly type, I'd have only briefly seen a small figure in the distance through the scope of my anti-materiel portable cannon! The bobble-head in the puddle is a nice touch.
I would note that although we can see rain falling there is no real sign of rain on any surface or impacting the water, but as you say this is an alternate version of an unfinished work. Otherwise it has that nice washed out gritty feel that is the Mojave Wasteland.
And Skyrim you say, can't wait for that one

D'oh! Yep you're right about the rain, this is why I never post these renders I just do for fun and practice, I always leave something out. Yeah the real image has little beads of water splash on the rocks and armor and such.

Someone may discover / point out an omission that was not stunningly obvious and even with errors they are still pretty sweet works. I'd have rather seen than not this scene of a brief moment of simple unadulterated relaxation where cleansing rain is a luxury in an otherwise unforgiving, harsh and contaminated world.
Besides, you did actually point out that this was a work in progress so clearly there will be a good chance for small oversights.
