I know monochrome is your strong suit, but I'm surprised you went with B&W for this. I'd have liked to have seen the color of the blossom. Still, it IS quite elegant as is.The subtle veins(?) in the petals I'm sure wouldn't be as prominent in color.

that was shot last year as well! i wasn't shooting RAW yet and i shot it in black and white!! i checked today and only have two tulips starting to come up, but i can't wait... i will be doing color shots of them this year, so look forward to that! if my memory serves me right this one was yellow? we have these cool pink and green ones and i put in black last year so cross your fingers! and thanks for the input!
