Yes it does! G1 is the best in my opinion, I liked the other generations too, but G4 destroyed my childhood.

I actually liked G4, but not as much as G1. It's great to see a new MLP cartoon, but it will never be as great as the original ^^

I'll be honest, I really don't like G4 because the ponies look like anorexic anime ponies, and the fanbase is freaking insane. The majority of the fanbase draws pony porn and will flip shit if you say even the slightest negative thing about any pony.

I agree with the "anorexic anime ponies" part, I mean, really, the G4 designs aren't pretty. I used to think they were ugly, I don't even wanted to watch the cartoon. I finally take a look at it, and now I'm kinda used to those design, they are funny in a way, even if they don't look like ponies ^^.
For the fanbase, yeah, it's terrible, that's why I try to stay away from hardcore fantards, I just enjoy the show for what it is (and seriously, there is a lot of negative thing to say about it, even when you like the show )
