the propper name is "silhouette"
last time I misspelt the word
this is a French art that appeared in the 21th century
It was named after a french finance ministre
whose name was "Etienne de Silhouette"
Long time ago, this art used to be done without colors
It used to be done by cutting papper
and I know an artist from Alexandria who learned this art in France
and he is still working in this "silhouette" till know
I think this man is the last one of his generation now
yet this art was very popular in the late 60th and early 70th
