You know it's a hot day in the desert when you come back to your chopper and find even that half-melted.

I came across the Mi-28 Attack Helicopter Player-model. I got this idea not longer later.
I had originally planned to use Russian soldier and not the DM Mercenaries, but apparently no one has a half-decent Russian soldier model on the Workshop that includes desert camo.
The heli itself was hell to work with. Not only did I have to use a ragdoll resizer to make it about five times bigger, but the bones are (unsurprisingly) awkward and are extremely difficult to work with. Honestly setting the damn thing up in a position I liked and finding a good camera angle took me a good hour all by itself.
