A young Aodhian proud of his blood, though unaware of his privilege. He is spoiled rotten, sheltered from the truths of the world. Seeing value the value placed on ownership and “things”, the foal equates goodness with materialism. Loving his parents above all, he would do anything to please them, except listen of course.

Violet is the image of what it means to be born as a “have” rather than a “have not”. As the newborn legacy of House Adesso, the foal is afforded all the luxuries of Constance’s restored Eminent status. He holds his family in great esteem and aspires to follow in their footsteps. Sheltered from the war and its uncertainties, Violet values what he can see: namely status and the lifestyle it provides. Thus he wishes to protect his family’s way of life, and all that comes with it.

Though not fueled by elitism yet, Violet has developed a sense of entitlement. He expects his needs to be met and his wants acquiesced to some degree because they always have been. On the rare occasion that they aren’t, he has no trouble making that fact known to everyone within earshot. Despite this, he is usually subdued in public—compared to his more rambunctious nature at home anyway. While not fearful of strangers, instinct advises him to stick by his mother's side in unfamiliar territory.

Violet has led a charmed life from day one; surrounded by loving, doting family, she's known naught but joy. But for all the securities her mothers provide, even they can’t protect her from growing up. And one day she’ll need to confront the reality of what she is, and who she wants to become.

The long-awaited product of the enduring love between her parents. Constance, a recently reinstated Noble, and Margaery, a well-respected Chevalier, made the decision to conceive in order to continue the Adesso family bloodline. It was not a move made lightly. With war waged in the south the future was uncertain, but they were willing to hedge their bets on their ability to protect their family. So Marg gave birth to a healthy unicorn foal in the summer of 1701. And from the moment the foal opened her eyes, they were blessed.

Living on one of the House Adesso estates alongside Connie, Grandpa Vasco and her uncles, Violet hasn’t a care or complaint—save maybe not seeing Marg more often. Her days are spent at Connie’s side, whether they be at home or in town. She’s intrigued by what lies beyond the estate walls, but not enough to cross their threshold alone. The glimpses she’s had into the darker side of Valore have been overshadowed by the city’s light; everything holds a certain magic that captures her attention and imagination. Violet’s love of the herd grows by the day, and the loyalty instilled toward it will serve her well.
