As the Taikan refugees collected themselves and returned to their own territory, more than a few had chosen to remain in Skydas. Lugh couldn't blame them—after hearing the horrors that drove them away, he wouldn't have chosen to return either. The wolf was all too happy for the extra company. Though he was somewhat of a newcomer himself, he was eager to help the pack's new blood feel at home. Alcyone quickly became the target of his attempts. While not entirely thrilled at being followed around, they appreciated his intentions.
