Description For use with Apophysis (possibly Ultra Fractal, but I haven't tested it there).

Version 1.1 - Should work fine now with all file formats. Checkbox select errors also fixed.

I downloaded this tool, but when I try to open it I get the error message: Component 'comdlg32. ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Do you know what I am doing wrong, or what causes this error to happen?

Thanks. I prefer to have ugr gradients because otherwise it doesn't make it easy to open the map files. Great job and will definitely be using this soon.

Thanks for keeping this out there.
The one I had lost several files
and kept saying it could not find
the comdlg32.ocx file or one of
the other files it uses.

This is an awesome timesaving program!!

A suggestion for any future version that may be on its way: Make it so that you can append the gradients to an existing ugr file.

Some have said this but I don't see a problem...on a fresh install of Windows XP it works fine!

It says that a file is missing or invalid when I try to open it..it worked fine before, but then I accidentally deleted it and when I downloaded it again it didn't work..

I also downloaded the program and get an error saying it failed to load the control Common Dialog when I try to run it. Also, the .exe icon that is in the zip file has a small n/a after the .exe, which is unusual. I don't know but it won't work for me either. Maybe there is something missing in my system file that should be there for the program to run?

It downloaded fine......now how does one use this nice little utility??

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

datagram In reply to patrx [2005-05-19 20:41:14 +0000 UTC]

It combines .map files into a single ugr file.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

patrx In reply to datagram [2005-05-19 21:46:37 +0000 UTC]

Oh... Then I can convert all of my MAP gradients to UGR and then include them in my UGR gradient folder?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

datagram In reply to patrx [2005-05-19 22:18:00 +0000 UTC]

You do whatever you want. The purpose is to have 1 UGR file instead of 20 map files.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

patrx In reply to datagram [2005-05-19 23:52:11 +0000 UTC]

I'd forgotten about the MAP program until you mentioned it. I have a folder with a mess of those MAP gradients that I seem to forget about when I'm playing with Apophysis. It'd be nice to put them all into my UGR folder, and solve my absent memory problem....LOL.
