i went on a shoot with Lydia a few weeks back, and we explored an area east of downtown Spokane, WA, that i'd never been to before. the whole roll was shot in and around these trains. in all my 5 years shooting portraits, i was more excited about these than i have been of just about anything i've EVER done. change is so exciting! well, leave me some comments! i wanna know how the new stuff is received!=daveainley

aha! yes, i thought the ExACT same thing! thats probably one of my favorite elements of this photo ..that, and the teal lining compliments the colors MAGNIFICENTLY!! (i just complimented myself.. i'm retarded)

well i copy it once, and PASTE it 5 bajillion times, actually! sorry. it may get annoying, but its all advertising for me, and if just ONE of those actually ends up landing me a job, it was all worth it. see, i do this for money, and when you own a small business, you've gotta work your butt off promoting yourself and getting others to do it for you, too. any time i leave the house, i try to make sure i have business cards on me. when i don't, i feel naked and unprepared.
