i love monsters, so nothing really that I can think of inspires me, might be a movie ora song, but it all starts out with random circles and organic shapes until i see something take form.... then I just go with it.

very kool but the contrast is kinda.... i dunno like everything is the same or something. like some fine highlights in some places would have made it look more slimy and have a bit more texture

The skin on this thing looks amazing...I wonder though, with a mouth on both sides of the head like that, would you be able to see through one mouth into the other? hmm...

Dave, are you a fan of Giger?
A lot of your work has the same haunting feel to it. Especially when you have that sort of watercolor texture to it. It's breathtaking. I just know it's what been hiding in my closet all these years!

Im actually not as big of a fan of giger as people think I am. I dig his stuff but I dont own any books or use his art for reference... just kinda a coincidence.
thanks for the props, the watercolor effect is just a thick black brush and thanks to preassure sensativity it comes out more transulcent... if you do see him in your closet dont shoot him, he just wants to say hi
