oh god, i remember this show from when i was lil... i've been watching it while babysitting (the kids love it) but looking back on it.. the voices annoye me to death XD especially when zak and wheezy sing... its just.. gahhh *takes out her ipod and lets the kids to whatever*

Ooo, they've got the mad-scientist look! This is awesome. The show stinks. I used to love it, but now I can't stand the sugar-sweet dragons and their annoying way of getting their morals across. If they looked more like this, I might actually take them seriously.

I can't believe that I've never seen a two-headed dragon depicted as a sewn-together monster like this before. It's such a simple, yet clever idea.
The way you draw your dragons reminds me of those dragon statues that you can get at some weird little shops in the mall. You know the ones I'm talking about? They often have a crystal or glass ball in their hands/mouth etc. Ironically, one criticism I have for you is that the purple dragon's head and foot look flat in comparison to the rest.
That being said, I do like the pose. One side is acting wildly while the other is... reading. I never would have though of that one! Also, the claw dug into the ground is a cool detail-- mostly because there isn't really any ground.

I figured since the show was so generic and the dragons so typical, that I would keep them generic(yet much more detailed) and let the personalities do the talking. Glad you like it and I'm happy to know that I came up with something nobody had seen before.

I just looked up "Dragon Tails" on Google to see what the originals looked like. I recognize them from my elementary school days when my mom would babysit a bunch of little brats that watched that show. haha
The idea of taking a kiddy character and making it into something that would be inappropriate for children has been done to death, (even though I personally like it). However, this drawing makes the character look more "mature" without going overboard. I'll have to check out the rest of the set.
