This protal is so close to home. The cultivation of this atmosphere is far to prevalent these dayz.

Lovely piece. Very atmospheric and representative of the monotony that is 9-5.

It would have been better if the desk drawer was open and there was a gun in it.

I think some days it's just as well I don't have a gun with me at work!

I think anyone who works in a dull job can relate to that feeling! The funny thing is that I did most of this drawing at work, sat at my desk, over the course of several lunch breaks. I suppose there was something cathartic about depicting myself in my job looking miserable, while being at work feeling miserable!

i hear you! after working at various offices for about 10 years, i ve learned to ignore the whole nonsense, learned to shut down certain parts of my mind. I do too draw at work, mostly when noone is around or at my smoking breaks. In my case, smoking has some advantages in this case

Thanks - nice to know I'm not alone, it's been roughly a 10 year stretch for me too, in various institutions! I know exactly what you mean about shutting down parts of you're mind - it's almost like mental hibernation some days. Keep drawing!
