I don't care what anybody says. I loved Jim Carrey as the Riddler. I don't think anybody knows about this little, insane story but I will tell it anyway. I am a massive fan of Jim Carrey. He is my favourite comedian of all time and one of my favourite actors overall. I never used to be a fan of the superhero genre very much. I was never always a DC fan. When I was busy browsing through the video store, I saw the film that said Batman Forever. Above and on the cover, I saw Jim Carrey as this wacky looking guy with a green costume that had question marks on it. I also saw Batman on the cover. I was like, "Meh... maybe it will be good. I love Jim Carrey anyway so it will probably be good." I watched it and loved every moment of Jim Carrey as this enigmatic psychopath! So I went onto YouTube and did some more research on the Riddler and ended up watching some Arkham videos of the Riddler missions. Then I saw these other villains that seemed pretty cool. I began watching Batman: The Animated Series and fell in love with the Batman series. Next, I watched Justice League: The Animated Series and Justice League: Unlimited and I fell in love with the DC Universe. I began giving the superhero genre a shot and stared watching every superhero-related project and now I am a superhero fanboy. So yeah. As you probably already guessed it. The Riddler is my favourite villain in DC. It all began with Jim Carrey. If it wasn't for him, I would still be watching and reading non-superhero-related stuff. So I can understand why people wouldn't like Jim Carrey as the Riddler too much. Me, on the other hand, love him as the Riddler because if he hadn't played a superhero character, I would've never had become a superhero fan.
