Description
"Pursued by Rancors" Base card art for Star Wars Galaxy Series 7 trading cards by Topps. If there were ever to be a Star Wars sequel I'd love to see Luke pitted against 2 Rancors! My inspiration for this idea came from the sequence of the T-Rex's you see in "The Lost World: Jurassic Park".Painted in Photoshop.

A Star Wars scene with multiple Rancors...Β
Considering the degree of escalation of the familiar seen in Episode VII, I think this is something that has a real chance of happening in Episodes 8 or 9!

Thank you! Gosh, I really hope you're right! Maybe Rey up against Rancors in Episode 9?

Hopefully not in a metal slave bikini. Β Don't think Disney would wanna go for that homage these days...

Oh, wow! What a sweet scene caught here. Excellent work! Makes me want to collect cards again, but at the same time, this pic on a small card just wouldn't "cut it" for me! I'd LOVE to be able to buy a print, but if I bought the prints I want, wait! I couldn't cause I don't even have the money to "go broke" on buying these great pieces! Wonderful job though!Β

Well Done
I don't think he'd make it out of that if he wasn't wearing "Plot-Armour"

Hi, I should have clarified it was drawn in pencil on paper first, then scanned and painted in Photoshop. Though I have painted directly without using a pencil first with other work. There are plenty of tools out there for finer details, you just have to look up Photoshop brushes in a search and see what you find.
I think I spent about a week on this.
Thanks for your comment!
