This is a real treat, serious insights on dA. Your style is illustrative without being slick and derivative which is a treat in itself, to see young people being portrayed who don't appear to have stepped out of the pages of a Japanese comic. I may say that we have your book on order ( 'You Think Im Evil') andΒ look forward to reading it.

Oh gosh, more absolutely incredible work! I love the dark and grungy-ish kind of mood here, you use textures just right without it ever taking away from the real piece. And the text was so interesting to read--what a fascinating character!
I absolutely adore his dishevelled hair and those tired, bleary eyes--and good gosh, as always, your incredibly smooth lines and your clean, confident cel-shading... just awesome! I really adore the way you line too, there's something incredibly realistic and smooth about it, and just the details of his pose--the hand on the cheek, and in particular the turn of his feet--not to mention the awesome converse shoes you always draw, hahah--is just fantastic!
I, I'm seriously so envious of your art, it's a style I could never hope to achieve but that I admire greatly~
Oh, and I love the little dotted-lines-transition of the folded airplane. Just--so many images of childhood put together like this... it's incredible, really.

People are strange. And this is a fantastic character design. Funny, I was conceptualizing a character of a similar personality, and ironically he had the same name. Good stuff dude.
